Job Description:

Du􀆟es and responsibili􀆟es:

 Assist in the development of architectural designs

 Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements and other

technical documents and reports

 Prepare manual and computer-assisted design (CAD) drawings, specifica􀆟ons, cost

es􀆟mates and lis􀆟ngs of quan􀆟􀆟es of material from conceptual drawings and

instruc􀆟ons

 Construct architectural and display models, and 3-D virtual models of architectural

designs

 May supervise dra􀅌ers, technicians and technologists on the architectural team

 May supervise construc􀆟on projects and coordinate, monitor and inspect work done by

others.

 Conduct site inspec􀆟ons or site opera􀆟ons to ensure work is progressing as planned

 Ensure safety protocols on jobsites and act as a primary point of contact from clients and

contractors.

 Provide reports and updates to clients and or senior management.

 Resolve site issues that arises and maintain a produc􀆟ve work environment.

 Ensure closing out procedures are complete before project handover.

 Address unforeseen issues such as weather, material shortage and logis􀆟cs.
