Key Responsibilities

·      Assist insulation installers by preparing materials, tools, and work areas on residential and commercial construction sites.

·      Load, unload, and transport insulation materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.

·      Set up work areas by laying protective coverings, securing work zones, and clearing obstacles prior to insulation work.

·      Assist in preparing surfaces for insulation work by sweeping, clearing debris, and performing basic site cleanup.

·      Support insulation installers by holding materials, positioning insulation components under direction, and supplying tools as needed.

·      Assist with the setup and takedown of ladders, scaffolding, temporary platforms, and insulation equipment under supervision.

·      Assist with spray foam operations by preparing equipment, managing ventilation, and performing cleanup after application (no independent spraying).

·      Remove insulation waste, packaging, and debris from work areas and dispose of materials according to safety and environmental guidelines.

·      Perform routine cleanup of tools and equipment and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors.

·      Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

·      Read and follow verbal instructions and simple work specifications provided by supervisors or skilled tradespersons.

·      Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas throughout the workday.

·      Assist skilled tradespersons and team members in completing tasks efficiently and safely as directed.

·      Perform other general construction labour duties as required on site.

Qualifications & Skills

·      Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.

·      Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.

·      Ability to understand and follow safety regulations.

·      Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks.

·      Strong communication and teamwork skills.

·      Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Wage & Benefits

$25.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
