We are now looking for 20
construction helpers to reinforce our construction team. The primary focus of this role is on providing support and assistance to
skilled tradespeople and workers in various tasks related to building and
infrastructure construction projects.
Job Duties:

Materials
Handling: transporting and moving
materials and tools around the construction site, loading and uploading
materials from trucks, carrying, lifting, and operating machinery to transport
heavy materials.

Site
Preparation: assisting in preparing
the construction site for work, clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling
the ground.
·
Tool
Maintenance: maintaining and
organizing tools used on the construction site, cleaning tools, keeping tools
organized and in good working condition, and returning them to the proper
storage areas.

Assisting
Skilled Tradespeople: working closely
with skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and
masons, assisting these professionals by providing them with the necessary
tools and materials, as well as helping with various tasks as directed.

Construction
Site Clean-up: cleaning and maintaining
the construction site, disposing of waste materials in designated area, and
sweeping and maintaining a tidy work area.
·
Safety
Compliance: following safety
protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, wearing
appropriate personal protective equipment, reporting any safety hazards or
concerns to site supervisors, collaborating with others to ensure tasks are
completed efficiently and safely.
Qualifications:
·
Education: completion
of a Canadian secondary diploma or its equivalent.
·
Experience:
previous experience in the construction industry is an asset, training will be
provided before work start.
·
Language ability:
be able to communicate in English.
·
Flexible working
hours: be able to work flexible hours, including early morning, evening,
weekends, overtime, on call, and etc.
·
Physical fitness:
lifting, carrying and manual labour, and weight handling up to 100 lbs.
·
Communication
skills: be able to understand and follow instructions from supervisors and
communicate with other team members.
·
Other
qualifications: be able to adapt to different tasks and work environments,
knowledge of basic safety protocols and procedures, flexibility and a
willingness to learn new skills, and a good team member.
