Location: L9L 1B4

Job duties: 

- Providing one-on-one care such as assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Providing companionship 
- Helping with leisure activities
- Accompanying employer for doctors' appointments
- Assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the doctor's direction 
- Planing and preparing meals for employer
- Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of the employer

Experience and skills:

- Completion of Personal Support Worker program is an asset
- First aid certification is an asset
- Completion of a training program in care, such as Palliative Care program is desired
- Exceptional patient service skills
- Flexible with work schedule that includes occasional weekends, holidays and evenings
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, patience and honesty

Work hours:

- 30 to 35 hours a week
