  Job Description

Thank Disposal Inc., located at 45 Hyde Ave, York, ON M6M 5L9, specializing in scrap metal recycling and management services, including disposal bin solutions, is seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and organized individual for the position of Warehouse Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to all warehouse policies, procedures, and protocols.

 

Job Responsibilities:


Direct, control and supervise all shipping, distribution and warehousing;

Supervise the sorting and grading of goods that arrive at the warehouse;

Maintain storage area by organizing the floor space to achieve full space optimization;

Maintain inventory of goods received and goods leaving warehouse through regular inbound and outbound audits;

Schedule the receipt and delivery of goods;

Train workers and prepare work schedules;

Prepare and submit regular reports to Management;

Develop and monitor productivity standards;

Monitor and enforce compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring that all safety protocols and work methods are consistently followed;

Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse to ensure that all security policies and procedures are followed by the employees;

Conduct regular meetings and solve complaints and work related issues;

Coordinate with various vendors to direct movement of materials;

Assist in completing periodic safety training and maintain a safe work environment at all times;

Arrange for maintenance and repair work;

      Job Type: Permanent, full time position

Salary: $36.00 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week

 

Overtime: 1.5 times the wages after 44 hours per week

Experience: 1-2 years supervisory experience

Education: Completion of Secondary School

Language Requirement: English both verbal and written
